INFORMATION INTRODUCTION

The statistics compiled by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Government prove unequivocally that Democratic Party Presidents always create on average more than twice as many jobs as Republican Party Presidents, and in the last 19 years more than 4 times as many jobs as Republican Party Presidents. Some examples:

  1. Of the 12 Presidents since 1933 (past 75 years), the 6 Democratic Party Presidents are the 6 BEST and the 6 Republican Party Presidents are the 6 WORST, and

  2. In the past 60 years, since Truman was elected in 1948, the Democratic Presidents have averaged producing 188,000 jobs per month, compared with Republican Presidents averaging 89,000 per month. This is more than double. During that time there were 5 Democrats (24 years) and 6 Republican Presidents (36 years). Many say it now takes about 140,000 monthly to keep up with population growth. If that is true, then over the past 60 years the Democratic Presidents have averaged 48,000 monthly job surplus and the Republican Presidents have averaged a 51,000 monthly job deficit.

  3. In every one of the 8 times the Presidency changed from party to party over the past 75 years, the Democratic Party President created more jobs, on a percentage basis, than ANY SINGLE Republican President since 1933. On the contrary, every single time a Republican has been elected during that time, that Republican President produced a lower percentage of jobs than ANY Democratic President in that 75 year period.

We have posted here several graphs and video content comparing Democratic Party Administrations with Republican Party Administrations. See Graphs page.

Details can be found on www.waggonerpost.com (graphs, charts, etc.) or you can get the information from the horse's mouth (Bureau of Labor Statistics (www.data.bls/gov). It isn't laid out as nice as in www.waggonerpost.com with graphs, etc., but you can find it if you read carefully and compile the numbers.

This information has been compiled from the Bureau of Labor Statistics from 1933 through August 2008 (75 years).
